Rachel creates her work in her garden studio in Cambridge. She makes simple, elegant tableware thrown on the potters’ wheel, producing pieces which she hopes will be well used and well loved. She enjoys the exploration of what makes pots a pleasure to use, focusing on the details of balance and touch. Rachel aims not to over refine her work, enjoying the variation in form or surface decoration that show items to be made by hand.
