Jay Caskie is a printmaker currently based in St Ives, Cornwall. He grew up in Canada and received his BFA in 2019 from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Drawn to the repetitive nature of printmaking, he finds the process of carving and printing to be extremely meditative. Working with detailed linocut and wood engravings he explores themes of home and belonging.
