Petra lives and has her studio in Clipsham, Rutland.  She creates contemporary functional ceramics using traditional techniques and likes her pots to be simple in form. 

All of her work is wheel-thrown and fired to over 1200 degrees Celsius in an electric kiln. A maximum of two glaze colours are applied to underline the simplicity of form, often playing with the effect of the interaction between glazes used. 

Her work is dishwasher and oven safe, but use in microwave may cause crazing to glaze.  All of her work is water tight.
