Cath Marple Owen studied Ceramic Product Design at Denmark’s Design School in Copenhagen graduating in 2000. She moved back to the UK in 2005 and now lives and works from her studio at her home in Anglesey in North Wales.

Cath hand-makes porcelain decorations and jewellery using cookie cutters and her own templates, which are painted in vibrant, underglaze colours. Cath is half Danish and is greatly influenced by Danish traditions and Scandinavian design. She also has a great love for retro children’s illustration.
