Sue Day

Inspired by a love of books and stationery, Sue was intrigued to discover local bookbinding workshops and subsequently encouraged to pursue her craft.

Using traditional bookbinding skills, her books are mostly contemporary, covered with beautiful decorative and handmade papers from around the world (some local).

She is currently creating a vegan/eco- friendly range using cork. Cork is environmentally sustainable and naturally renewable. It is produced from the bark of the Cork Oak tree and dyed with natural materials. Cork forests are protected by law and sustainably harvested, allowing the trees to regenerate their bark naturally. This cork fabric is backed with a mix of cotton and recycled polyester and the journals are filled with 100gsm recycled paper.

Coptic Notebooks

Coptic binding is an ancient  method of exposed binding - simple, yet striking, with visible stitching.
