Lynn Kirsten Clarke
“I am a contemporary jewellery designer based near Tintern in the Wye Valley. Originally from Suffolk, I moved to Wales a few years ago where I was able to concentrate on my life-long passion for jewellery making.
I work mainly in sterling silver, using the beautiful surroundings of the Wye Valley as a rich, year-round source of inspiration from the young fern shoots in the spring to the decaying leaves on the woodland floor in the autumn. My designs not only reflect my interest in natural forms and repetitive patterns but also my fascination with the endless possibilities of silver, which can be forged, hammered and textured to create an array of organic and abstract shapes. I often incorporate fresh water pearls or semi-precious stones into my work. The result is jewellery designed to be bold and eye-catching, yet delicate and easy to wear.
I am a member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery and Adventa's Made in Monmouthshire initiative.”
