Adrian and Jennifer Bell are a husband and wife team who work from home in rural County Durham. Adrian slip-casts each ceramic piece from earthenware and fires them in a kiln at 1100˚ centigrade. Jennifer then slip trails and hand paints them with her own distinctive designs inspired by the English countryside. Once painted the ceramics are dipped in glaze and fired at 1030˚ centigrade. Being both functional and decorative they make exclusive gifts as every piece is unique. They have a rustic feel and may have slight imperfections which are part of their charm. It is recommended that the ceramics are hand washed and they are not oven or microwave safe.
