Elin was born and raised on the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales. She works as a I'm a metal clay artist under the name Janglerins. Her passion is jewellery; she loves to buy it, wear it and most of all create it. She is excited to work with an eco-friendly medium, which is made with 100% recycled silver, water and an organic binder. It is a fascinating material which gives her amazing artistic freedom. Elin's design process is also environmentally responsible in that all scraps, shavings and dust are collected and reused in another creation. Nothing goes to waste.
Each single piece is hand crafted, individually shaped, sanded, fired and polished, to create one of a kind piece. Every piece is designed and made in her workshop; a little shed in her garden! Hand-crafting is a fundamental element of Elin's work.
"It is a natural process which allows me to have a close connection with each final creation."
