Jacqui Law is a British designer and maker of contemporary jewellery, working primarily in silver. She makes pieces for UK galleries as well as unique commissioned items. Jacqui's silver designs incorporate freshwater pearls and semi-precious gemstones, with occasional details in gold-filled, gold vermeil or brass. Jacqui is interested in surface texturing techniques - this gives the silver an almost white luminosity which looks really beautiful alongside pearls and gems. Influences for some of the pieces come from architectural features re-created on a miniature scale such as tiny windows, roofs or doorways. Others are influenced by the materials themselves or spontaneous inspiration.
