Daniel Wright produces hand thrown Earthenware tableware covered in white and coloured slips and hand drawn transfers screen printed in black enamel. He likes to combine traditional and modern techniques in a contemporary way.
He is inspired by English slipware and 1950s Ridgeware ceramics, particularly the ‘Homemaker’ range. Daniel is also influenced by the Italian designer Piero Fornasetti. Daniel's work relates to either the function of the object or the locality of the area - he created this range especially for Cambridge Contemporary Crafts!
