Claire Hartigan

Claire Hartigan was born in Oxford and studied BA (Hons) Illustration and Animation at Kingston University London. Upon graduation she established her own London based studio producing limited edition prints, original drawings and handmade products. Her work is currently sold in twelve outlets across the UK, with stockists in Australia, Holland and Germany. Her illustrations have been published in several magazines and she was asked to create an activity page for Anorak magazine’s first ‘Happy Activity Book’.

In 2010 she was invited by Rado Watch Company Switzerland to exhibit her work at the launch of Jasper Morrison’s r5.5 Automatic wristwatch for the company during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Italy. She has since completed a commission for Rado Watches, designing marketing material for the company. Claire Hartigan’s work is inspired by the natural world, creating characters and intricate hand-drawn imagery using extremely fine drawing equipment to capture, often, minute details.
