When making my accessories I tend to start out with the fabrics, as this is the base for most of my designs. Textiles and mixed media are where I get my inspiration from.

I use a range of vintage as well as new fabrics, always trying to recycle as much as possible while making the items personal and individual. This is how I started making my book bags, I found a stunning but damaged book and was looking for a way to reuse it.

The scrapbook brooches are made from the pages of the books I use, mixed with vintage and scrap fabrics that would otherwise be thrown away.

All of my items are handmade on my beloved industrial sewing machine at my house in Saffron Walden.
