Paperdoll

Paperdoll is a range of quirky accessories and jewellery that are all handmade in the UK. The aim of the brand is to produce high quality pieces that are all one of a kind and put a smile on someone's face along the way!

The brand was originally called Ringmasters Boutique (the name was changed in 2012) and was set up by Nicola in 2009 after she completed a Fashion Design degree. Because of this background in fashion and a lifelong love of fabrics and buttons almost all her items are made from textiles.

Nicola tries to recycle within her work as much as possible, using vintage and scrap fabrics whenever she can, and creating mixed media pieces from vintage buttons or the pages from old books. Her clutch book bags are made from the covers of a book while the pages and illustrations are turned into brooches and so the entire book is recycled into several one off pieces.
