Callula Glass

I have developed a collection of geometrically inspired, decorative and functional glass pieces for the contemporary home. Bold colour palettes form themed colourways, which are regularly refreshed to reflect key seasonal styles. My work is influenced by modern interior and graphic design, as well as historical design movements, particularly the linear style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the grid formations of the De Stijl movement.

I am endlessly fascinated with glass as a medium; the alchemy involved, its interplay with light, the tactile nature of a finished piece and of course the element of surprise when you open the kiln after many hours of heating and cooling make working with glass incredibly exciting.
