Jenny BellAdrian and Jennifer Bell are a husband and wife team who work from home in rural County Durham. Adrian slip casts each ceramic piece from earthenware and fires them in a kiln at 1100°C. Jennifer then slip trails and hand paints them with her own distinctive designs inspired by the English countryside. Once painted the ceramics are dipped in glaze and fired at 1030°C. Being both functional and decorative they make exclusive gifts as every piece is unique. They have a rustic feel with slight imperfections which are part of their charm. The ceramics are not oven or microwave safe and it is recommended that they are handwashed. Prices range from: £4 - £35 |
