Amelia Stone

Amelia Stone is a Devonshire-based jewellery designer whose stunning, functional jewellery has swiftly garned her widespread popularity, as well as a name for herself as one to watch. Born and raised in East Devon, she graduated with a BA in Fine Art from University of Wales institute in Cardiff before deciding to focus her attention on working with metal. Deciding to take on a Jewellery Manufacture course at the reputable Holts Academy on London’s jewellery quarter Hatton Garden, she has never looked back.

It was clear from a young age that she began her love affair with silver as all things shiny – collecting an impressive and potentially unhealthy amount of jewellery. At university she began exploring the idea of living art though oxidising copper to create works that continually change, an idea that manifests itself in her jewellery designs.

Stone’s jewellery is at once delicate and striking; it is instantly recognisable through its iconic hoops and loops that make it both sturdy and intricate at the same time. Each piece painstakingly handmade, evident by hundreds of fantastic and unique intricacies in the silver.
